Julieta is a board certified Doctor of Natural Medicine and Clinical Herbal therapist. She has been practicing holistic natural medicine since 2001. In her practice, she believe in empowering individuals with the use of our mind and cultivating inner harmony as a way of promoting our own health and well-being. At the same time, and as needed, supporting each patient’s holistic needs with nutrition, natural and herbal remedies, while promoting the body’s natural abilities to heal itself.
Her skills and training include: Herbal Medicine, Nutrition and Lifestyle, German New Medicine, Bach Flower Essences, Salvestrols, Reiki and Energy Healing, Reflexology
She graduated in from the Dominion Herbal College in Burnaby, BC, in 2004 with a Diploma in Clinical Herbal Medicine.
Ongoing: she regularly takes courses and training in natural and conventional medicine as a way of maintaining and improving my skills and services.
Julieta was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. When she was 19 she moved to the USA with a scholarship to study Electrical Engineering, and in 1980 she obtained her "Bachelor of Science and Engineering" from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia; and in 1983, she received her "Masters in Computer and Information Science", also from University of Pennsylvania. Julieta worked as a software developer from 1980 until 2001 in the USA, France, and Canada. As a software developer, she designed, developed, and maintained different types of software programs (from the firmware of specialized controllers, to operating system of multi-user computers, networks, and various end-user applications).
Today, Julieta dedicates her life to promote health and wellness. She is a member of the Canadian Herbal Association of British Colombia (CHAofBC ) and the Health Action Network Society (HANS)
